Cole's Faded Love, RIP 1991-2011
Fady, as we called her, was my first Shire. She was 6 month old when we picked her at Rufus Cole's place in Dos Palos. She was in a Corral with her Sire, Bigfoot Rebel without a Cause, and a month later she came home. She was quite a character and tolerated my inexperience and taught me a lot by letting me try out all kind of things and was our main driving horse for the first 10 years with Bristol joining her at some point. I have some memorable stories of our experience together. She was a kind, smart and sweet horse and we had several foals from her, the most wonderful being Tango, seen above as a foal (now Annamay's horse), and Murphy (pictured below), I was hoping for many more years for her, but she had a good run. We will miss her.

Congratulations to Marcia Mayeda and HUSKA'S Murphy's Law. Murphy is the current United States Dressage Federation All-Breed Champion Shire Horse – 4th Level. He looks great and happy doing it.
